This little brown beauty is fun to watch as it bounces around through tall grasses. It is a chestnut brown with no marking on the tops of the wings. The undersides of the wings have lovely eyespots surrounded by golden rings. They are the easiest to observe while they are resting on leaf litter. This butterfly is a wonderful addition to all wildlife gardens.
