This little dark Cloudywing is a skipper at heart. It can be seen skipping from flower to flower in search of nectar. The males search for females among flowers and grasses while stopping occasionally to sip nutrients from mud puddles. These small dark skippers are fun to watch as they flitter through grasslands, wooded edges, and dried water streams.
