Common Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus)

This native deciduous shrub forms a thicket of small thin branches that develop clusters of pinkish bell-shaped flowers. Large half- inch white berries remain until late summer when they turn brown for the winter. The clusters of berries stay on the shrub throughout winter, so they are a great food source for overwintering wildlife. This shrub is perfect when planted with a mixture of other plants and the white berries add an extra sense of elegance to your gardens.
