Coreopsis (Coreopsis spp.)

(aka Tickseed)

This plant brings you beautiful colored flowers that bloom in many colors of yellow, pink, red or orange flowers, depending on the species. The daisy-like shaped flowers have toothed tips and their wiry stems can vary from 9 inches to 3 feet tall depending on species. As with most butterfly garden plants, these beauties love full sun. They are easy to grow and multiply on their own, removing the old blooms will stimulate new blooms. They are a gorgeous addition to any garden and a lovely cut flower to enjoy indoors.
