We were at Caddo Mills Lake in Texas for my son’s 9th birthday party when our attention was suddenly all on a little tiny butterfly. My 5-year-old daughter was running and hopping around, chasing this little butterfly. To everyone’s amazement, this tiny butterfly allowed my daughter to catch it not only once, but twice.
On the last catch, as she gently opened her hand and the butterfly flew off, I was reminded how such a tiny little thing can capture every second of your happiness up until the last second. It reminded me to live in the now. Keep your soul happy and free – life’s journey may not be long, but it can be happy every single second.
