My father passed away nine days ago after battling poor health for many years. Two days ago we gathered with special friends and family at a local community center for our monthly multi-faith devotional meeting.
As we sat in a circle sharing beautiful prayers, readings, and songs a beautiful monarch butterfly circled around our heads. It was a deeply moving, spiritual experience. I had a very strong feeling that Dad was with us.
A Daughter’s Grief Finds Solace on Butterfly Wings
This is a story of grief, woven with threads of faith and the whisper of wings. It’s a journey through loss, illuminated by the flicker of hope in unexpected places. Join me as we explore the ethereal dance of grief and acceptance, guided by the vibrant brushstrokes of a butterfly’s wings. Let us learn to see beyond the tears, to find solace in the whispers of wind, and to embrace the enduring love that transcends even the boundaries of life and death.
